ZetaDisplay AB entered into an agreement regarding the acquisition of ProntoTV AS. ProntoTV will become part of the ZetaDisplay Group. The previous owners of ProntoTV will after the transaction become the 3rd. largest owner of ZetaDisplay AB.

For ProntoTV customers this means that ProntoTV will become better and stronger. Tore Hovda, partner at ProntoTV, says that “ProntoTV is a strong brand name in the digital signage market in Norway, and our ProntoTV-brand name and culture will continue as before. ProntoTV will have the same employees, management and content management systems that our customers are familiar with. The only difference is that our employees will have a bigger network of colleagues, more resources, an international presence and a unique range of products to offer our clients”.  Ola Sæverås, a partner at ProntoTV adds that “Together with ZetaDisplay, ProntoTV will be able to offer complete solutions at the cutting edge of technology to our existing and new customers”.

ProntoTV will become part of a powerhouse in the digital signage market in northern Europe. ZetaDisplay is currently a leading supplier to major chains in the retail trade and service industry. The company has over 50 employees and sales offices in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Estonia, and the Netherlands. ZetaDisplay has a large customer base on the European market and its customers include Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, PostNord, EuroCash, Stockmann, HEMA, Hesburger, Kesko, Alko, Vianor, and MIO, etc. Many Norwegian companies are going international and with the ZetaDisplay’s network ProntoTV’s international capabilities are becoming much stronger.

For both ProntoTV and ZetaDisplay insight is important in order to maximize the effect from our digital signage. ZetaDisplay Academy have been looking at consumer behavior for 10 years and ProntoTV’s customers will be able to learn from this extensive knowledge bank.
